Today, a significant event took place at the Cruise Terminal of the Port of Catania as the Resilient Lady, a remarkable ship from Virgin Voyages, docked at our port. This occasion marked the beginning of a key collaboration aimed at enhancing the safety and experience of tourists arriving in Catania.
In partnership with the State Police, the Municipality of Catania, the Port Authority of the Eastern Sicily Sea, and Catania Cruise Port, we have implemented strengthened security measures both inside the port and along the main streets of the historic city center. These improvements ensure that visitors can enjoy a safe and pleasant journey from the moment they disembark until they explore the city’s stunning sights.
As part of this initiative, young volunteers from the Youth Council of the Municipality of Catania will be present to assist tourists. With their help, visitors will be able to navigate the city with ease, receiving useful information about Catania’s rich cultural heritage, landmarks, and must-see destinations.
